FISHER OF MAN

In the book Matthew, Jesus said “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...”(28:18b-19a) One of our key functions of GOC is not just teaching the Word and fellowshipping with one another, but also go out and make disciples of Christ. We all know that “..faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17) and there are a lot of people at CSUN who don’t know the word and needs the gospel.

In a time where post modernist and false religion creep all over us, we as followers of Christ need to be bold in standing up for Truth. Christ told his disciples “‘...Follow Me, and I will make you fisher of men’” (Matthew 4:19) In the same way, we should go out and try to win souls to Christ.
